Making Real Connections: Bring the Field Trip Experience to your Students Professional Learning Webinar

Learn how you and your students can meet and interact with an environmental science expert without the yellow school bus! Join the Genovesi Environmental Study Center (GESC) to learn how to offer your students the enrichment of a field trip in a remote learning setting. This professional learning opportunity will introduce you to engaging environmental and life science experiences that align with New York State standards, as well as how to take advantage of the multiple free resources that accompany them. As a participant, you will experience our live, interactive remote learning offerings for either elementary students or middle and high school students, as we walk you through how to smoothly connect with technology, and explore the pre and post lessons and other supplemental resources (such as ebooks and videos) that have been curated to extend instruction in your virtual classroom and increase family engagement at home.

The session will be held via the Zoom conference on Thursday, June 4, from 1:45-3:00 pm. Participants are eligible to earn up to one hour of CTLE credit. Register today!
